    Job Title: Head of Creative Services

    Location: Chatham

    Job Type: Maternity Cover (9 months)

     

    The Head of Creative Services works as a part of the Publishing team, leading art production and managing the creative output of the company and its products. They will manage and schedule the graphic designers, video editors and email marketers to ensure on time delivery of marketing and advertising materials for weekly/yearly releases, promotions and updates.

    Responsibilities

    • Maintain a clear creative direction for all company and franchise marketing materials; ensuring they are aligned with the target demographic and product goals, and have a consistent art style across all areas of publishing assets.
    • Good understanding of marketing, providing advice to franchises/other areas of the company on creative solutions to communicate key messaging.
    • Making sure all art is delivered in accordance to the marketing requirements of the product.
    • Maintain Creative Services Trello request board and manage team schedules.
    • Manage the video. graphic design and CRM team; organising, prioritising, and scheduling work assignments along with giving direction, coaching and advice.
    • Manage budgets of email marketing, freelancers and any other materials required by the Creative Services team.
    • Lead creative sessions for project kick-offs with leads, ensuring there are briefs for areas of art production.
    • Ensure all licensing and legal requirements are covered within any art produced liaising with the legal team.
    • Manage and organise external contractors/freelancers.
    • Ensuring that graphic designers and video editors have the correct versions of product from the development team to ensure that there is art sign off for all video capture to begin.
    • Ensuring that all newsletters are provided on time in the correct formats, along with proofing for correct messaging and grammar
    • Working on artwork or video deliveries where workload requires it.

    Person Specifications

    • Excellent written and communication skills
    • At least 5 years experience in a design role
    • Experience in Graphic Design and Video Editing
    • Experience of managing a team of artists
    • Creative with exceptional attention to detail
    • Ability to multitask under tight deadlines
    • Extensive experience in Adobe Creative Suite Programmes
    • Good knowledge of email marketing platforms beneficial
    • Some knowledge of digital marketing, SEO, google tracking and tagging.
    • Games industry experience very welcomed
