    To help achieve this ambition, we are looking for a Video Editor who will report into the Head of Creative Services, and create video content for our game franchises, Trains & Fishing – using in game material as well as recording using a camera.


    Responsibilities of the Video Editor:

    • Record footage using image capture devices, setting up shots in game (using the Unreal Engine 4 editor) and ensuring all aspects are technically accurate
    • Liaise with the development team on improving image quality and checking for bugs in the game
    • Editing the footage in Premiere Pro, keeping to the briefs provided
    • Selection of audio to maintain a set tone to pieces
    • Create motion graphics within After Effects for start and end sequences in keeping with brand continuity
    • Render videos in different formats for different platforms requirements
    • Set up cameras and have basic knowledge of lighting set-ups for interview style recording
    • Set up audio equipment to record voice overs

    Person Specifications

    What we look for in the Video Editor:

    • Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g Premiere, After Effects, Final Cut)
    • Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
    • Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation, continuity
    • Familiarity with 3D and compositing (UE4 skills desirable)
    • Basic understanding of the editor in Unreal Engine 4
    • Creative mind and storytelling skills
    • Degree in a film-based discipline
    • Being a keen gamer or having worked in the games industry is beneficial
